THE PRADO MUSEUM One of the most important museums in the world thanks to its complete collections which span from de XIII to the XIX century with relevance in the Spanish school (Greco, Velázquez y Goya), Flemish (Van der Weyden, El Bosco) and italian (Tiziano y Tintoretto)

REINA SOFIA Cronological follow up of the Prado. Monumental building, former San Carlos hospital. Nowdays it holds an exquisite collection of Cubism (Picasso), surrealism (Miró, Dalí) and other vanguards without forgetting the world wide know Guernica of Picasso.

ROYAL PALACE Impressive XVIII century building, previously residence to Spanish monarch families now used by the royal family for state ceremonies.

THYSSEN Painting gallery hosted in an elegant XVIII century palace. The Thyssen baron’s private collection acquired by the Spanish state. A span through painting from the XIII to the XX century focusing on main periods of western art.
